Train derails in Lázně Kynžvart, two injured
A RegioNova train derailed in Lázně Kynžvart this afternoon. The train went through a stop signal, and both cars jumped off the track. According to a rescue service spokesman, two people suffered minor injuries. The signaling device stopped traffic on the line in time to prevent a collision. Traffic on the rail line is temporarily interrupted.
A Czech Railways passenger train ran a stop signal and derailed when the emergency brake was applied. There were five passengers on the train. None of them were injured, and they were off the train shortly after the accident.
