A passenger train struck and killed a pedestrian walking on the tracks in Praha-Klánovice. The operation of the mainline from Prague to Kolín was interrupted for about half an hour. According to data on the Czech Railways website and from information provided by the Prague Rescue Service.

A man moving in the track was knocked down shortly before 2.30 pm by a passenger train going from Český Brod to Beroun. A rescue helicopter intervened on the spot, but the man could not be revived. According to the Railway Inspectorate spokesman, the man was walking on the tracks in a restricted area when he was hit.

Due to the accident, long-distance connections between Kolín and Prague drove away. Trains on the suburban line S1 did not run in the section between Běchovice and Úvaly. Trains on the S7 line did not run in the section Prague-Libeň to Český Brod.

Shortly after 15:00, two of the three tracks resumed operations. Due to the reduced speed, trains may be delayed by up to 20 minutes.
