Minister Dostalova in quarantine after family member tests positive for COVID-19
The Minister for Regional Development Klára Dostálová was quarantined due to a positive test for coronavirus in her family. She will work online, she said on her twitter today and will take the covid-19 test on Friday.
“Please take care of yourself,” Dostalova tweeted. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Jan Hamáček, tested positive for covid-19 last week and is now in isolation. He was tested after a meeting with the Minister of Agriculture Miroslav Toman, who also had a positive test.
CSSD vice-presidents and ministers Tomáš Petříček and Jana Maláčová have also undergone quarantine before. ANO politicians have been hit by the virus as well, Minister of Transport and Industry Karel Havlíček was in voluntary isolation. Due to a positive test by the chief hygienist Jarmila Rážová, the then Minister of Health Adam Vojtěch was quarantined. At the end of August, the coronavirus was confirmed in the Chamber of Deputies. After former Minister of Defense and Regional Development Karla Šlechtová tested positive more than ten deputies were quarantined for a week.
