Hungary to close borders to foreigners for 30 days
Hungary will close its borders to foreigners for at least a month from 1 September to prevent the spread of coronavirus. Exceptions will be military convoys, humanitarian transit, or trade or diplomatic channels. The government cabinet of Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, quoted by Reuters, informed about it today.
Hungarians returning from abroad will have to quarantine. They will only be able to leave it after two negative tests on COVID-19. Hungary has so far recorded 5,511 infected, of which 614 have died.
