Czechs investigating deaths of 21 who received vaccine

The Czech State Institute for Drug Control said it had recorded 10 cases of death following vaccination against Covid in the last week. In total it has registered 21 such cases. The Institute has forwarded information on the cases to the European database of suspected adverse reactions for verification.

By Tuesday evening the national drug regulator said nearly 2,000 people had reported adverse side effects of coronavirus vaccines. In most cases these were flu-like reactions.

The State Institute for Drug Control said all the reports related to suspected side effects and that none had as yet been proven.
