The Boston Bruins have loaned Goalkeeper Daniel Vladar to HC Dynamo Pardubice of the Czech Extraliga. Vladar has spent four seasons on Bruins farms and made his elite competition in this year’s playoffs.

“Based on the development of the beginning of the season and Milan Klouček’s injuries in the match against Třinec, although fortunately, it was not serious, we decided to add Dan Vladař to the goalkeeper team. Negotiations with Boston were speedy,” sports director Dušan Salfický told Dynamo’s club website.

“Dan is one of the very talented goalkeepers, which he confirmed last season of the AHL. His commitment will help us to spread the great match load that awaits us in the coming period,” added Salfický.

The ruler can look forward to his debut in the Extraliga. Before leaving for North America, he competed for Kladno in the second highest competition in the 2014/15 season. Boston drafted a participant in three World Championships in the Twenties and two World Championships in the Eighteen in 2015 in the third round at the 75th position, and Vladař went to the USHL to join Chicago Steel.

Since the 2016/17 season, he played on the farm team in Providence in the AHL and Atlanta in the ECHL. During this year’s playoffs, when number one Bruins Tuukka Rask decided to spend time with his family instead of in the “bubble,” he became number two of Slovak goalkeeper Jaroslav Halák.

He made his NHL debut on August 26 in the third round of the 2nd round, when he replaced Halák 1: 4 in a 1: 7 home defeat with Tampa Bay. Shortly before, he had signed a new three-year contract with Boston with an annual income of $ 750,000. He has a so-called two-way contract for two seasons. In the final year, the contract will be one-way.
